ISLAMABAD: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s reforms march praised by the President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain during talks held at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad on Wednesday.
HM was welcomed on arrival at the palace by the Pakistani President who hailed his visit to Pakistan wishing it every success.
Both leaders held a meeting during which they reviewed deep-rooted historic relations between countries and ways of bolstering them as well as regional and international issues of common interest.
HM the King expressed happiness about visiting Pakistan and meeting its president as well as senior Pakistani officials. He thanked the Pakistani President for the warm welcome and hospitality, stressing Bahrain’s keenness on further enhancing bilateral relations. He highly valued Pakistan’s supportive stances to Bahrain and efforts to foster relations with Islamic countries boost cooperation and solidarity with them and serve Arab and Islamic issues.
He commended the role played by the Pakistani community in Bahrain’s development march, wishing Pakistan and its people more progress and prosperity.
The Pakistani President praised HM the King’s landmark visit to Pakistan, asserting his country’s keenness to bolster cooperation with Bahrain. He paid tribute to HM the King for steering Bahrain’s development march, commending the kingdom’s growth in various fields.
He underlined the importance of exchanging visits between businessmen and trade delegations from both countries, wishing the Bahraini people further progress and prosperity under the leadership of HM the King.
HM King Hamad attended a dinner banquet held in his honour by the Pakistani President.
