MANAMA: A number of Jordanian fighter jets have landed in the Isa Air Base to take part in the joint air drill, “Basic Liaison 2014”, to be conducted by the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), represented by the Royal Bahrain Air Force (RBAF), from April 28 to May 8, 2014.
The drill, launched in 1988, is part of RBAF’s plans to conduct joint exercises with the air forces of friendly and brotherly countries, within the joint defence cooperation among those forces to consolidate security and stability in the Arabian Gulf region.
RBAF held a number of preparatory meetings to ensure the success of the drill.
