AMMAN: The Minister of State for Information Affairs Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab said that Bahrain has always endeavored to maintain brotherly and peaceful relations with Iran at all local, regional and international forums since the end of Iraq-Iran war.
The Minister said that it would impossible to talk about democracy while there is chaos and violence in the local community, citing HM the King initiatives to solve the problem which have been rejected by some parties.
She highlighted the distinctive, solid brotherly bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
At a meeting with the Jordanian News Agency (Petra)’s Director General Faisal Al-Shboul and his accompanying delegation, the Minister praised the atmosphere of freedom and openness in the Kingdom as well as the advanced level the media has reached in Jordan.
The Minister has expressed her appreciation of the role of the media and its message but criticized bids by some media outlets to distort facts and data, urging the media to be neutral and unbiased because of political affiliations.
