MANAMA: Chief of Public Security Major General Tariq Hassan Al Hassan on Tuesday reiterated that there would be a foolproof security during the upcoming Gulf Air F1 Grand Prix in Bahrain.
The Security Chief said that in terms of Interior Ministry security and legal duties it had taken all the plans and procedures to bring Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix F1 to success. All the needed security services were provided to host F1 Grand Prix 2014 to be held from April 4 to 6th in Sakhir.
Chief of Public Security clarified that the plans which would be carried were studied and gone under training due to the experience gained through hosting such event during the past years. Also, he said that those procedures aimed to bring the race to success and to provide security to all the events going on and to all citizens, residents and the visitors.
Coordination had been done with the organizational body of the race regarding security procedures inside the circuit and through strict inspection. Entrance and participation in the event were also organised. Security patrols would cover the circuit and all the main roads leading to it and would help to smooth the traffic flow and maintain security and order in the Kingdom.
Chief of Public Security, a number of senior officers from Interior Ministry and field leaders checked this week, during the conclusion of a training carried by Public Security Force, the readiness of security patrols , security checkpoints, emergency and alternative plans. Major General Al Hassan thanked all who work to bring Bahrain Grand Prix to success.
