AMMAN: Prime Minister of Jordan, Abdullah Al-Nasoor, on Tuesday highlighted his country’s keenness to strengthen and increase the level of cooperation in all spheres in the interest of the two countries and their people.
The Prime Minister was speaking as he held talks in the Jordanian capital Amman, with Minister of State for Information Affairs, the Government’s Official Spokesperson, Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab.
The meeting held in presence of Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs Dr. Mohammed Al-Momani and Bahrain’s Ambassador to Jordan, Nasser bin Rashid Al Ka’abi.
Jordanian Premier highlighted the solid Bahraini-Jordanian relations, thanks to the support and interest of both leaderships.
He reviewed the comprehensive reforms led by His Majesty King Abdullah II in the political, economic and social areas, underlining the royal visions have contributed to achieving serious reforms in the march of democracy, openness and freedoms.
He pointed out the challenges faced by Jordan due to the massive influx of Syrian refugees into Jordan and the Palestinian refugees, whom their cause has been deserted by the international community.
Information Affairs State Minister underscored the historical relations binding the two kingdoms and the Jordanian supportive stances towards Bahrain, asserting Bahrain’s need for Arab support at all times.
She added Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is determined to continue to further promote freedoms, openness and reforms, affirming following transparency approach in dealing with the events.
She emphasized reinforcing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of media.
