MANAMA: Bahrain-based Islamic retail major Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), opened its 8th branch in Zinj area as part of bank’s strategy to serve customers more efficiently.
The official opening ceremony was attended by Hussain Sharaf, Director of Islamic Institutions Supervision Directorate at CBB, Dr. Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the KHCB’s Board of Directors, Khalil Al Meer, Chief Executive Officer, senior members of the management team and media representatives.
The opening of the new branch is in line with KHCB’s strategic plans to provide services and solutions that meet clients’ expectations and have more geographical touch points for their banking needs.
“We are delighted to be opening the 8th branch of KHCB today. Our network expansion is part of our strategic plan to have more presence in different locations in Bahrain to be closer to our customers, enhance KHCB’s channels of communications with them and to increase our market share,” KHCB Chairman, Dr. Ahmed Al Mutawa said.
The new KHCB branch in Zinj will offer all its Shari’a compliant retail banking services which include savings accounts, Al Waffer, current accounts, credit cards and financing products for personal, auto and real estate. In addition to other retail and corporate banking services offered through the branch, there is an ATM with comprehensive functions to complement the services provided.
