MANAMA: Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior visited UAE forces stationed in Bahrain.
His Highness Sheikh Saif on Sunday visited the headquarters of the Emirati force participating in the forces deployed in Bahrain under the joint collaboration agreement of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior confirmed how proud and honored the UAE people and government are of the humanitarian and patriotic duty performed by the force.
HH conveyed the greetings of the His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and General His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the Emirati armed forces participating in the Peninsula Shield Forces (Gulf Waves Force/7) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan was briefed on the conditions of the country’s brave sons in the force, and during the lunch feast with the force members; His Highness hailed the courage and bravery of the officers and soldiers of the Emirati force, and their sincere determination to fulfill their patriotic duty towards the brothers in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
“We are all soldiers of righteousness and justice, and no voice is higher than the call of duty,” His Highness said.
His Highness expressed his pride in the sons of the country that answered the call of duty to help their brothers, defend the right of innocent civilians in security and stability, and put to an end the acts of saboteurs and their criminal plans.
Upon arrival Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation was received by HE Lt. General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Interior Minister, along with a number of high ranking officials.
During his visit, His Highness was accompanied by a high level delegation includin: Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Resources and Support Services and Brigadier General Jumaa Hamel and a number of officers in the ministry of interior.
