MANAMA: Bahrain Bourse (BHB) in co-operation with J.P. Morgan organized for the fourth consecutive year, a four-day programme on Investor Relations (IR) best practices.
Participants from listed companies on BHB along with others from GCC stock exchanges and institutions attended the Programme.
The Investor Relations Program is held as part of Bahrain Bourse’s plan to develop investor relations and promote best practices among listed companies in the financial markets.
The IR programme, which is conducted by a group of specialists, covered a multitude of topics including IR principles and techniques, IR communication tools, valuation, corporate governance, financial statements.
Throughout the sessions, the program presents a number of practical IR case studies and explained the importance of IR for listed companies and financial markets. In addition, the program clarifies the structure of IR in a company’s organizational chart, the responsibilities, objectives, and the role of Investor Relations serving as an effective communication channel between the company and other related parties. This will ensure smooth flow of accurate information in a way that will contribute to providing those parties with information that will enable them to take sound decisions concerning the company.
The programme provides a unique opportunity for participants to share their experience and various topics related to IR by interacting with each other and the IR specialists.
