MANAMA: The Cabinet on Sunday discussed and approved a memorandum presented by the Minister of Culture concerning the preparations of the celebration of International Museums Day (IMD).
Samira Ibrahim bin Rajab, the Minister of State for Information Affairs and Government’s Official Spokesperson, during the post Cabinet meeting briefing at Gudaibia Palace told reporters that the Kingdom of Bahrain has been celebrating IMD since 2007 by organizing various events that aim to promote the role of museums in the local community. This year’s IMD will be under the theme “Bonds Created by Museum Groups”.
The Cabinet took note of the approval of the Shura and Representatives Councils of the following decree laws and laws including draft Law on the Protection of the States data and documents; draft Law Approving the system of the veterinary products for the Gulf Cooperative Council States; draft Law Approving the system of the veterinary medicine practice for the Gulf Cooperative Council States; draft Law regulating the process of marine sand extraction and sales; draft Law amending Article No. 4 for Law No. 3 for the year 2008 concerning the Social Insurance Organization and the draft Law amending Article No. 3 of Decree Law No. 17 for the year 1976 on Juveniles.
