GENEVA: Societe Generale Private Banking has appointed Alan Mudie as its Head of Investment Strategy, effective from 19 May 2014.
He will be in charge of the private bank’s Investment Strategy team, responsible for determining the global investment policy for Societe Generale Private Banking.
In particular, Alan Mudie will be responsible for chairing Societe Generale Private Banking’s investment committee and ensuring publication of its recommendations, both internally and externally; involving the portfolio management teams in the definition of investment strategy and communicating it to the commercial teams; regularly providing investment themes as the basis for a differentiated product offering for clients and prospects.
Based in Geneva, Alan Mudie is also Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Societe Generale Private Banking (Suisse) SA. He replaces Antoine Blouin, who will focus fully on his role as Head of Wealth Management Solutions, Switzerland.
As CIO of Societe Generale Private Banking (Suisse) SA, Alan Mudie will be the entity’s spokesman on investment strategy issues.
