MANAMA: Accountancy serves as a vital pillar to business and there are many challenges for the people working in this dynamic sector.
This was stated by Dr. Mirza who delivered a speech and a lecture on the basic challenges confronting chartered accountants in big companies, pointing out his personal itinerary over forty years which took him from his position as Bapco Chief Executive Officer to the Government of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.
He was speaking as he opened a leadership conference held under the patronage of Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza.
The event was organized the event at the Crowne Plaza by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Cost Accounting Branch) in Bahrain and the GCC.
Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Mohan Kumar attended the conference which attracted over 120 chartered accountants from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and India.
