MANAMA: Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro confirmed leadership and government keen to develop Bahrain relations with various countries of the world and to increase the rate of cooperation and joint action which is at the end on favor to citizens in Bahrain.
He pointed to the historic visits undertaken by his Majesty the King to nay major countries which focused on developing relations in order to achieve public interest.
This came during a meeting with New Zealand Special Envoy for government business affairs Alex Matheson accompanied by 2nd Secretary of New Zealand Embassy resident in Riyadh Adriaan Barnard in presence of Undersecretary of Commerce Affairs Nader Al Moayyed.
They discussed and reviewed the bilateral relation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of New Zealand including the economic and trade relations.
The minister stressed the importance of such mutual visits and meetings in enhancing investment and economic relations, in addition to the role in identifying possibilities potentials available in both countries and exchange experiences. Also considering ways of cooperation and partnership in all fields especially food security which regain important to the government and the Ministry in particular.
Dr. Fakhro also reviewed potential and investment opportunities offered by the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain for investors from all over the world and the procedures and privileges offered by big investment projects, especially in the fields of Industry and Commerce.
Alex Matheson highly appreciates the government and the Ministry for their efforts in enhancing economic relation between New Zealand and Bahrain, seeking for more effort to deepen these relations.
