MANAMA: Bahrain’s Islamic banking and finance industry has been sustaining growth patterns over the past many years with even a positive outlook on both the profitability and assets’ growth in 2014, a senior banker revealed on Sunday.
Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO of KFH-B after the opening of the 10th branch of the bank in Arad told The24X7News (www.twentyfoursevennews.com) that Bahrain remains undisputed leader in Islamic banking and finance.
“Islamic banking sector enjoys a full support from the central bank as well as from the leadership which bolsters the economic climate in the Kingdom,” he said.

“KFH-B is continuing to broaden its presence in Bahrain’s competitive banking sector and sustain its expansion plans with the recent opening of its tenth branch at Arad,” he said, adding that KFH-B would look for another to three branches to cover the entire Kingdom.
Yaqoub Yousif Majed the Chairman and Alkhayyat officially inaugurated the new Arad Branch, along with dignitaries, high profile invitees and executives of the bank.

The new fully fledged branch is located in The Islamic Association Complex and will be open five days a week: Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30am to 1:00pm and from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and on Sundays and Tuesdays from 7:30am to 3:00pm.
