The Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Abdulla bin Abdul-Malik Al-Shaikh, has affirmed the outstanding deep-rooted fraternal relations bonding the two kingdoms and their royal families.
He was speaking during the monthly Diwaniyah hosted by the Saudi Embassy, in the presence of ambassadors of GCC countries, heads of Arab diplomatic missions and the Iranian chargé d’affaires of the Iranian Embassy here, businessmen, social and media figures from both countries, citizens, residents and the Saudi Embassy’s affiliates.
Dr. Abdulla bin Abdul-Malik Al-Shaikh said the monthly meetings aimed at consolidating the interaction and cohesion between the two brotherly countries, and enhance joint social and cultural ties.
He added the meetings also aimed to shed light on Saudi Arabia’s cultural, social and economic features and its development strides, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah said that Saudi Arab represented the strategic depth of all GCC countries, noting that the meetings hosted by the Saudi Embassy provides an opportunity to foster GCC relations and re-affirms the unity among GCC countries and peoples.
Al-Arab Satellite News Channel Director-General Jamal Khashoggi described the monthly Diwaniyah as a positive initiative and a venue where citizens and key figures from the two brotherly countries meet and exchange cordial talks.
