PARIS: The State Minister for Information Affairs highlighted the importance of the advanced status of Bahraini women and the empowerment projects being implemented by the Government to boost their rights and economic independence.
State Minister for Information Affairs, Sameera Ibrahim bin Rajab, the Government’s official Spokesperson, took part in the 24th session of the Global Summit of Women which kicked off in the French capital, Paris, at an invitation by French Minister for Women Rights, Youth and Sport Najat Vallaud-Belkacem.
The summit got underway in the presence of the French minister, businesswomen and female politicians from all over the world.
She met renowned female personalities in the business and media sectors and discussed with them cooperation in various fields.
Around 1300 female participants from 80 countries are taking part in the summit alongside ministers from many Arab countries like Bahrain, the UAE, Morocco and France.
