MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prince Salman reaffirmed Bahrain’s continuing efforts in developing initiatives and practices that protect the environment as a core priority for the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, met with the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain’s Supreme Council for the Environment, Dr. Mohammed bin Daina, at Gudaibiya Palace.
He emphasised that contributing to the protection of the ecosystem forms a key part of Bahrain’s sustainability programme.
His Royal Highness also underscored the need to enhance environmental monitoring mechanisms while maintaining the free flow of goods and services inside and outside the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness concluded by wishing Dr. bin Daina success in his work in leading efforts to protect Bahrain’s environment to improve the quality of life for the Kingdom’s citizens and residents. Dr. bin Daina expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince stressing his commitment to sustainable environmental strategies.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, son of HRH the Crown Prince.
