MANAMA: InterContinental Regency Bahrain, one of the leading 5 star hotels in the Kingdom, held the 5thAnnual Celebrate Service Week from the 9th to 12th of June 2014, in recognition and appreciation of its employees.
Celebrate Service Week is one of the largest celebrations of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), for IHG’s more than 350,000 corporate and franchise employees around the globe, in recognition of their hard work, dedication and professionalism, which is in line with the hotel’s thrust towards its mission statement: ‘Ambition to Be # 1 for guests, owners and colleagues’.
“Through Celebrate Service Week, IHG extends its deepest appreciation to its employees. It is our heartfelt gesture to make them feel valued, and let them know that each one of them is an important part of the IHG team worldwide. We all look forward to the Celebrate Service Week every year, it is a much-needed reward which our employees deserve from their hard work, day in and day out,” Michael Koth, General Manager of InterContinental Regency Bahrain said.

Following on from the success of Celebrate Service Week 2013, which had outstanding participation from IHG employees at more than 4,300 hotels, this year’s celebration proved to be even bigger and better. InterContinental Regency Bahrain organized a series of fun and exciting activities, which encouraged widespread participation from the hotel’s employees. The participants engaged in inter-IHG Bahrain hotels sports competitions and they were also treated to an exquisite barbecue night. The 4-day celebration concluded with an awards ceremony, which gave recognition to deserving employees.
