MODA Mall, the ultra-modern shopping destination located at the Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC), the Kingdom’s iconic landmark, unveiled its ‘Diamonds in the Sky’ at a ceremony held at a specially designed stand in the Fashion Court. The event was organised in partnership with De Beers, the leading innovators in high-end diamond jewellery.
The inauguration was attended by Peter Gaynor, Cushman & Wakefield’s General Manager, Abdulhameed Al Kooheji, Chairman of AJM Kooheji Group, Omar Al Kooheji, Manager Lifestyle Division, AJM Kooheji Group along with distinguished guests, fashionistas and members of the press. De Beers is represented in Bahrain by AJM Kooheji Group. Spectacular sets one-of-a-kind diamond jewellery from De Beers’ craftsmen in London was revealed, and will be on display at the Mall until 31st July 2014.
Reflecting the spirit of giving during the Holy Month of Ramadan, this event offers visitors and brand conscious shoppers the opportunity to win a fabulous De Beers diamond set by guessing the number of diamonds on display in the ‘sky’ at MODA Mall’s special setup in the Fashion Court. The spectacular prize includes an elegant chain with a pendent, a pair of earrings and a ring from De Beers.

“With this month-long event, we have joined together to represent a fitting reflection of the importance of this Holy Month, while offering discerning shoppers the opportunity of experiencing fascinating diamond pieces from their London-based craftsmen,” he added.
A hashtag contest will be activated soon whereby mall visitors can take a photo of the De Beers jewellery on display and hashtag it to #modashinebright. Two participants with the highest number of likes will win MODA Mall vouchers for BD200.
As part of the Ramadan celebrations, the mall will be decorated in Arabian ambience with arrangements for shoppers and visitors to enjoy mouth-watering Iftar and Suhoor meals at the various restaurants in MODA Mall. Throughout the Holy Month, the mall will provide a comfortable venue for shoppers to relax after Iftar, while being served Arabic coffee and dates in traditional settings.
