MANAMA: The terrorist attacks continue in Bahrain even during the Holy Month of Ramadan as terrorists attacked on duty police officer who succumbed to his injuries later in a hospital.
Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan has confirmed the death of policeman Mahmood Fareed in a terrorist blast in East Ekar on Friday.
He said the policeman was referred to hospital and died in the early morning hours on Saturday. The Chief offered his condolences to the family and to the personnel of the Interior Ministry. May God rest his soul in peace.
The Chief said that crime scene units responded to the scene to examine the area and an investigation was launched to identify and arrest the suspects involved in order to bring them to justice.
