MANAMA: The General Director of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science confirmed on Friday the arrest of two suspects on charges related to the terrorist blast on Friday July 4 in East Ekar that killed policeman Mahmood Fareed.
The General Director said that investigators had collected forensic evidence at the scene and that the Public Prosecution was notified.
The investigation led to identification of the suspects, in which Abdulamir Hassan Radhi Mohammed, 35, and Abdulhadi Ali Hassan Salman, 19 were arrested after obtaining warrants from the Public Prosecution.
They were referred to the Public Prosecution. He said that legal procedures are being taken to arrest the remaining suspects to bring them to justice.
