MANAMA: The Assistant Undersecretary of Legal Affairs of the Interior Ministry announced on Wednesday that a number of families of policemen who have been killed in the line of duty have requested to file legal cases against those who caused the policemen’s deaths.
The families were directed to pursue normal legal channels to file such cases and to produce the documents required for the legal procedures to move forward.
The Assistant Undersecretary said that the Interior Ministry will assist the complainants within its specialty and competency range as such a matter is a personal right for the families of dead policemen.
The Assistant Undersecretary also said that the Interior Ministry is ready to provide legal advice and guidance to the family members.
