MANAMA: Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain (KFH-B) signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) to become its Official Banking Partner.
The signing ceremony was held at the KFH-B’s headquarters at the Bahrain World Trade Center between the Bahrain International Circuit’s Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and Sattam Al Gosaibi Executive Manager and Head of Corporate Banking Group at KFH-B, in the presence of Abdul Razak Jawahery, Executive Manager at KFH-B, Sherif Al Mahdy, Commercial Director at the BIC and Bader Nasser, Senior Manager Sales.
“The BIC plays a major role in supporting the national economy of Bahrain and boosting other sectors within the Kingdom such as tourism, sports and transportation. By signing this agreement, we will further strengthen our long term relationship with the BIC by becoming their formal Official Banking Partner. We will work closely with the BIC to continue to further enhance Bahrain’s economic development,” Sattam Al Gosaibi, said.
“By entering into the partnership with the BIC, we hope to contribute towards sustaining the success of the motorsports sector globally. During the past 10 years, the BIC was able to accomplish many great international achievements through its successful approach in organizing Formula 1 and other motor races. It was able to prove itself as the home of the motorsport industry in the region. We are very proud of our partnership with BIC and we are looking forward to seeing more achievements realized by the BIC in the future,” Al Gosaibi, added.
