MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister visited the Majlis of Shaikh Ibrahim bin Hamad Al Khalifa in Riffa, the majlis of Shaikh Mohammed Jaafar Al Jufairi in Juffair and the Majlis of the late Abdulkareem Ahmed Al Ansari’s sons in Mahooz.
His Royal Highness highlighted that a national priority for the Kingdom is to continue to provide opportunities to develop the necessary training skills for Bahrain’s national workforce as a driver for the Kingdom’s economic development plans.
His Royal Highness also emphasised the key contributions of Bahrain’s workforce across a range of sectors. In this regard, His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to maintaining an environment that welcomes investment within the Kingdom’s vital sectors and in turn provides Bahrain’s workforce with a wide range of opportunities.
His Royal Highness also stressed the important role that various government institutions play in reinforcing the contributions of both the private sector and Bahrain’s citizens as essential parts of the Kingdom’s programme of sustainable development.
Turning to the importance of aligning the outcomes of education and development programmes to the demands of today’s global market, His Royal Highness highlighted how developing skills aimed at enhancing productivity and competitiveness will help Bahrain’s national workforce become the preferred choice for employers. This, he added, demonstrates the importance of investing in Bahrain’s human capital as an essential part of the Kingdom’s economic development plans.
His Royal Highness also emphasised that Bahrain’s diverse society has an important role to play in driving further growth and providing better opportunities for all Bahrainis, a characteristic unique to the Kingdom and underpinned by Bahraini values of promoting tolerance and coexistence.
His Royal Highness emphasised the role these values play in reinforcing the unity of Bahrain’s society in spite of various regional events that run counter to the Kingdom’s long-term stability and development plans. These plans will help protect the Kingdom’s social, political and economic achievements, and further support the Kingdom’s programme of reform and development.
His Royal Highness extended his best wishes to the people of Bahrain during the holy month of Ramadan, and highlighted the significant role of Ramadan’s social engagements in increasing interaction among Bahrain’s society.
Majlis attendees expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness’ visits and commended his clear commitment to ensuring the essential components of development, long term stability and unity among the Kingdom’s society.
