MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa strongly condemned the terror blast which left one policeman dead as he was performing his duty in East Eker.
“The martyr of duty Mahmoud Fareed is the victim of the treacherous enemies of the nation”, HM said in a cable addressed to Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa.
He affirmed that the scourge of terror would never derail the national march, pointing out that the conspirators who plot to subvert Bahrain’s security and perpetrate the most heinous crimes will stand trial for justice to be done.
He strongly denounced the despicable crime which was perpetrated in the first days of Ramadan by murderous killers who showed no mercy, compassion, goodness or repentance.
HM the King expressed deep sorrows over the killing of the on-duty policeman, strongly condemning the scourge of terror in all its forms. He paid tribute to the personnel of the Interior Ministry and the Public Security for their unrelenting efforts to defend Bahrain and their sacrifices for the sake of the nation.
HM the King extended heartfelt condolences to the personnel of the Interior Ministry and the Public Security, paying a posthumous homage to the martyr of duty Mahmoud Fareed who sacrificed his life and died defending his country.
HM King Hamad also extended sincere condolences to the bereaved family and fellows, praying Allah Almighty to rest the deceased’s soul in eternal peace.
