MANAMA: The Kingdom of Bahrain on Sunday said that it would restrict work and entry visas for three countries including Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone as part of precaution after Ebola outbreak claimed over 700 lives in West Africa.
The decision to this affect was taken during a weekly Cabinet meeting chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The cabinet also discussed how to prevent the Corona and Ebola viruses from spreading to Bahrain, and decided on specific preventative measures.
The Cabinet, which discussed the issue, decided to ban entry and work visas for anyone coming from the countries affected by the Ebola virus.
