The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) hosted a group of children from the BDF Officers Club as part of their summer program.
The visit was held in line with Bapco’s continued commitment towards the society and towards developing the youth of the kingdom, enabling them to benefit from an enriching learning experience through their summer programme.
The children were taken on a tour of the company’s facilities, and given a presentation on Bapco’s operations before visiting the Dar Al Naft (Oil Museum) to learn about the history of oil in the Kingdom.
They were then hosted at the Bapco Club, where they had the opportunity to visit and utilise the company’s sporting facilities. Upon the conclusion of the visit, officials from the Officers Club’s summer programme thanked Bapco for organising the visit and hailed its role in fostering such initiatives in the kingdom.
The visit is as part of Bapco’s year-round Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavours and its role in serving the community. The visit was organised by Acting Superintendent Event Management Public Relations in Bapco, Fahad Shamsan. Bapco regularly hosts students from various educational institutions and organisations in Bahrain, which reiterates its passion for developing young learners in the Kingdom.
