MANAMA: The 7th cohort of BIBF graduates in UK’s Bangor University international programmes took part in the University’s graduation ceremony held in the UK.
The cohort comprised seventy four graduates from the BIBF Bangor University who held Bsc degrees in Accounting and Finance and Banking & Finance.
“The results of the BIBF students were outstanding. The majority scored very well when compared with the University’s overall Business School scores,” BIBF Deputy Director Dr Ahmed Al Shaikh said, who attended the graduation ceremony in the UK.
Fourteen of the seventy four students scored “outstanding”, with Mariam Khalid Mahmood, BIBF’s Bangor University degree graduate in BSc in Accounting and Finance, receiving the University’s Craig Williams Memorial Award for the best performance in any Bangor Business School degree.
Dr Al Shaikh pointed out that the international academic programmes offered at BIBF in cooperation with Bangor University are among the best specialist degrees in banking, finance, and accounting.
“The quality of the academic content of the programmes is a key focus for BIBF,” he added.
“The combination of training and education programmes that we offer is based on the vast vocational and academic experience of our faculty, which is critical in ensuring that the needs of the business sector are met. BIBF is now implementing a plan to expand its set of offered international programmes to keep up with the sector’s total development needs.”
Bangor University BSc programmes in Accounting and Finance and in Banking and Finance are among a series of higher education programmes offered at BIBF in collaboration with leading international universities.
