Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, stressed Bahrain’s commitment to international efforts aimed at promoting peace and security.
HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, who led Bahrain’s delegation to the NATO Summit met with the British Ambassador to Bahrain, Iain Lindsay OBE.
His Royal Highness praised the United Kingdom’s organisation of last week’s NATO Summit in Cardiff, Wales.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness. After welcoming His Royal Highness’ participation in the NATO Summit, he affirmed his appreciation of Bahrain’s shared values and its role in maintaining peace, security, and stability within the region.
His Royal Highness and the Ambassador then praised the strong ties that bind the United Kingdom and Bahrain, before reviewing ways to further strengthen the bilateral relationship and increase cooperation in various fields. Regional and international developments were discussed as well.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
