MANAMA: The Kingdom of Bahrain has formally become of the International Gas Union (IGU).
The Official Government Spokesperson and State Minister for Information Affairs Sameera Rajab post weekly meeting told reporters that the Cabinet discussed and approved the memorandum presented by the Minister of Finance, Minister Supervisor of the Oil and Gas Affairs on the accession of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the membership of the International Gas Union (IGU).
The Union is concerned with the technical and economic aspects of the world’s gas industry.
“The Kingdom’s accession to this union will contribute in expanding the network of relations with all the pillars of the industry and the global gas market; promote the exchange of information and knowledge in the field of natural gas; as well as the possibility of hosting some events and attracting gas investment companies to the Kingdom,” the Minister said.
