Manama: Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) received three letters of commendation from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) for achieving outstanding results in the June 2014 series of examinations.
BIBF Director, Solveig Nicklos, said that the CIM award, only given to UK and overseas CIM-accredited study centres, was bestowed upon BIBF for achieving 100% pass rates for Level 4 units Marketing Information & Research and Stakeholder Marketing, as well as the Level 6 unit Managing Marketing.
“Stressing the quality of BIBF professional programmes as well as their outcomes is a key priority for the Institute, and this achievement stresses our commitment to that”, she added.
The international pass rates for those certifications are around 71%, 59%, and 67% percent respectively.
CIM is the largest and most established marketing organisation in the world. CIM qualifications are industry-proven and internationally recognised, and range from introductory courses for those new to the profession to strategic-level qualifications for senior managers.
In addition to the perfect pass rates, two candidates achieved A grades in their assessments, with one scoring 70% in the Level 4 unit Marketing Information & Research, and the other scoring 73% in the Level 6 unit Managing Marketing.
BIBF currently offers three Levels of CIM Professional marketing qualifications – Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing, Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing and Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing.
