Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), a leader in corporate social responsibility, validated its commitment to serve the community by distributing Eid-al-Adha gifts to children in the paediatric section of Salmaniya Medical Complex, Bahrain Defence Force Royal Medical Services and King Hamad University Hospital.
Volunteers from the Alba Community Service Committee participated in this initiative and distributed gifts to the children and wished them a speedy recovery.
“Alba has been continuously giving back to the community and supporting its development through various programmes adopted by the Alba Community Services Committee. These initiatives directly impact people and strengthen Alba’s bond with the wider community. We are truly privileged to be able to visit the children in hospitals every year during Eid and bring a smile on their faces,” Alba’s Director for Administration, Abdul Rahman Janahi, said.
The Alba Community Service Committee plays a key role in encouraging the spirit of philanthropy amongst Alba employees. It has nearly 200 volunteers, who along with the participation of their families serve the community through different activities such as visiting patients, cleaning up coastlines and planting trees.
