Manama: The Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr Hassan A Fakhro will launch 58 investment projects during his keynote address in the opening ceremony of Invest in Bahrain 2014 on Wednesday.
Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, “Invest in Bahrain 2014” forum kicks off on October 14, 2014 at the Bahrain International and Convention Center. The forum is organized by Industry and Commerce Ministry in cooperation and coordination with a number of official sides and the private sector.
Invest in Bahrain 2014 is expected to attract a large number of businessmen and businesswomen and investors within and outside the Kingdom, where CPIC, the Chinese Company and Aba for fiberglass will showcase their experiences in the fiberglass sector as they will launch ideas for industrial projects of small and medium enterprises “manufacturing industries”. Tamkeen will also review the new services and strategy including the launch of “Support the investor” programme.
The forum comes within Ministry promotional programs that aim to upgrade the national economy under leadership and government guidance to enhance Kingdom’s position as a global hub for industry, trade and services. The forum will launch investment opportunities for investors from inside and outside and promote the Kingdom as an optimal destination for investment in all economic sectors where the ministry is preparing to launch 58 new investment opportunities in the important Economic Forum during “Invest in Bahrain 2014”; investment opportunities will includes many sectors such as metal, plastic, fiberglass, water, e-commerce, information and Technology and communication with investment value over one billion dollars.
The first invest in Bahrain was launched in 2003 to encourage and promote investments in general and attract foreign investments.
