Manama: Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro confirmed government’s support to all initiatives and the positive steps that can enhance Kingdom’s economic base and stimulate the Bahraini private sector as well as investors in general to access all the economic sectors.
This came during the opening ceremony of Corneliani at Moda Mall which was held under the auspices Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro where there was at reception Italian Ambassador Alberto Vecch, Bahraini businessman Ahmed Mohammed Dadabhai, Global Sales Director for the Italian Group Cristiano Corneliani, in presence of a numbers of businessmen, investors and Ministry’s officials.
During his tour around the shop, the Minister was briefed on the outstanding exhibits, which varied between menswear, fabrics, accessories and other men’s supplies of Corneliani brand.
Ahmed Dadabhai said that Corneliani brand was a pioneer in the Italian menswear sector set up a craft business making raincoats and overcoats in the 1930s. With a network of single-brand stores in major cities throughout the Middle East – Dubai, Doha, Amman, Beirut and Kuwait City – leading menswear brand Corneliani is opened a prestigious new boutique in Manama. The shop located in the Moda Mall – the luxury brand destination in Bahrain – on an area of 150 square meters.
The Minister expressed his admiration for the upscale that characterized the exhibits and in which reflect the high Italian taste in clothing design, pointing that these distinctive designs are compatible with the tastes of many consumers in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also commended the efforts of the private sector in the Kingdom and their permanent keenness to add new and diverse option for consumers.
