Manama: The Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)’s Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed held talks with the delegation from the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Humanitarian Development Foundation (PMFHD).
The two sides explored means of cooperation in welfare and development work between the RCO and the Foundation.
Dr. Al-Sayed briefed the delegation on the RCO’s history, the number of orphans and widows sponsored by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the work of the RCO in the welfare, education, development and financial sponsorship of children, including educational scholarships, and the RCO’s leading role in providing assistance to needy peoples in brotherly and friendly countries and disaster-affected zones under the patronage of His Majesty the King the RCO’s Honorary President and direct supervision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Organisation’s Board of Trustees’ Chairman.
Prince Mohammed bin Fahd University (PMU)’s Director Dr. Isa Al-Ansari briefed Dr. Al-Sayed on the Foundation and its accomplishments in charity and humanitarian work inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad.
Dr. Al-Ansari hailed the great role of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty’s patronage of philanthropic work, humanitarian assistance to the needy and relief aid to disaster-stricken peoples, praising the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Organisation’s accomplishments inside the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad, commending the huge efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the remarkable efforts of RCO employees led by its Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, applauding the RCO’s accomplishments in line with the vision and aspirations of the RCO’s patron His Majesty the King and its successes in implementing all of its projects professionally and efficiently.
