Kuwait: Kuwait Financial Centre “Markaz” announced its sponsorship for the Fourth International Conference for Accounting and Auditing under the slogan of “Reality – Challenges – Visions”.
The conference will be held under the patronage of the National Assembly President, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim from 3-4 December, 2014 at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce, with the supervision and organization of Kuwait’s Association of Accounts and Auditors and in cooperation.
“This sponsorship reflects our commitment to support the activities of civil society organizations and professional associations that aim to contribute in leveraging the professional, scientific and cultural level in the Kuwaiti society. We view these organizations as partners in Markaz’s integrated strategy for social and economic responsibility, which is based on three main pillars: 1) building the human resources 2) aligning our business environment with the principles of sustainable development 3) adopting the principles of good governance in business environment. In order to achieve these objectives, Markaz collaborates with several reputable civil society organizations, especially the ones concerned with the financial and economic sector such as accounting,” Alrazi Al-Budaiwi, Assistant Vice President Media & Communication at Markaz, said.
“We would like to thank Kuwait’s Association of Accounts & Auditors for organizing this conference, which will provide an excellent opportunity to exchange views and experiences on many of the accounting topics, as well as define the obstacles that face the accountants today and provide suggestions to overcome them. The conference will also provide an opportunity to learn the latest developments in the accounting field and benefit from the international participants experiences, which will help raise the professional level in Kuwait and enrich their knowledge,” Al-Budaiwi, added.
With the participation of the Arab Federation of Accountants and Auditors, the conference aims at educating professionals about the importance of the accounting and auditing profession in Kuwait, GCC and other Arab countries as well as those related to this profession like financial reports creators, financial controllers, academics and related government sectors.
