MANAMA: Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al Moayyed alongside 1st Vice-Chairman Othman Al Rayyes held talks with the outgoing Australian Ambassador Neil Hawkins based in Saudi Arabia at the Chairman’s office in Bait Al Tijjar.
Both sides hailed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries particularly in terms of business and trade, and called to exploit the business and investment opportunities.
The Australian Ambassador commended Bahrain on its friendly culture, and declared that about 800 Australians are contentedly residing in Bahrain. He also hailed Bahrain’s investment and trade environment and announced that Australia is the 6th largest exporter to Bahrain.
Al Moayyed welcomed Australian investors and business owners and called them to visit Bahrain and benefit from the advanced business environment of Bahrain and partnerships with their counterparts, stressing on the chamber’s willingness to exert all efforts to bolstering the business relation between Bahrain and Australia.
