Manama: The Autumn Fair, Bahrain’s largest and most popular annual consumer products B2C exhibition, under the patronage of the Bahrain Ministry of Industry and Commerce, is returning to the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from 21 – 29 January 2015.
With the show covering a massive 15,400 square metres of space this year, visitors can look forward to more choice, new exhibitors, unique products and thousands of potential bargains at this shopping extravaganza.
Over 750 exhibitors from 21 countries will showcase products from across the globe. A huge variety of goods will go on sale during the 9 day period ranging from specialty food, fashion and furniture; to technology, toys, textiles and much more. An outdoor children’s play area, a live band and costume characters also form part of the entertainment.
“The Autumn Fair is now in its 26th successful year. The show is full to capacity and we are looking forward in all confidence to another hugely enjoyable and successful event. The Autumn Fair has a unique atmosphere for visitors to experience. The entire exhibition centre becomes a colourful bazaar, transformed by traders who have travelled from far and wide to Bahrain, bringing with them their country’s best exports. The largest international groups assemble to form national pavilions and include countries such as China, Egypt, Kuwait, Turkey, Syria, UAE, Pakistan, Yemen and Thailand,” Arabian Exhibition Management’s project manager Mohammed Ebrahim, said.
The sheer number of exhibitors means that prices at the Autumn Fair can be competitive. There are potential savings on new-to-market products and a host of regular visitor favourites. There is also a strong business-to-business element. The Autumn Fair acts as an important sourcing venue for local companies, and wholesale agreements and new partnerships will be established during the course of the exhibition. Numerous local businesses also regularly take part in the exhibition and many offer special deals to visitors.
Entry to the Autumn Fair 2015 is 700 fils. Children under the age of 5 years will be admitted free of charge. The exhibition will open daily to the public from 12 pm – 10 pm on 21 January, 10 am – 2 pm and 4 pm to 10 pm on 22 January, 12 pm to 10 pm on 23 January, 10 am – 2 pm and 4 pm – 10 pm on 24, 25, 26 and 27 January, and 10 am – 10 pm on 28 and 29 January.
