Manama: MODA Mall, the shopping and dining experience for every occasion, located on the ground floor of the iconic landmark, Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC) today, at a grand opening ceremony unveiled a unique Photography Exhibition entitled ‘15 Years of Achievements’ marking His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s ascension to the throne, as part of Bahrain’s 43rd National Day celebrations.
The exhibition was unveiled by Peter Gaynor, Property General Manager at Cushman and Wakefield in the presence of invited guests, Ambassadors, representatives from the media, shoppers and tenants. In addition, a commemorative book ‘15 Years of Achievements’ was launched and presented to guests who attended which comprised a selection of the never before seen photographs from the archive of the Royal Court.
“We, at MODA Mall are delighted to have hosted this unique Photo Exhibition to commemorate the ’15 Years of Achievements’ of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s ascension to the throne. During these years, His Majesty has led the country to a unique position and placed Bahrain on the international map, as a modern and diversified nation. His vision and wise leadership has supported the advancement in infrastructure developments, education, military, and health sectors to name a few. Today, Bahrain is a thriving financial hub in the region with a strong diversified, forward-looking economy,” Gaynor said.
“To celebrate this historic occasion we produced a commemorative book illustrating some of the milestone achievements of rapid progress that has contributed to the remarkable economic and social transformation of the country. We are confident that this rare photographic book and the exhibition will prove popular among our shoppers and visitors.”
Both at the exhibition and in the book, the photographs on display are divided into two categories namely the economic and social developments. The first section includes ‘15 years of Achievements’ and portrays photographs on the Aviation, Infrastructure, Military, Political and Judiciary sectors while the second section portrays ’15 Years of Pride’ in Education, Sports, Heritage, Women and Charity.
