MANAMA: Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of the late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who passed away Friday morning, and offered sincere condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, his brothers and all members of the Saudi Royal Family.
Shaikh Khalid asserted that the whole world, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the Arab and Islamic Nations had lost a great leader, who had dedicated all his life to enhancing his country’s progress and prosperity, played a leading role in humanitarian and charity work and exerted tremendous efforts to strengthen the GCC and consolidate cooperation mechanisms among its member states, praising Saudi Arabia’s landmark achievements under his leadership.
Shaikh Khalid added that the Kingdom of Bahrain was saddened by such a calamity, and will always recall with pride the late King Abdulla’s stances in support of its just causes.
He prayed Allah Almighty to rest the soul of the late monarch in eternal peace, grant the Saudi Royal Family and people consolation and patience, and guide King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince HRH Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the right path, and bless them with abundant good health.
