MANAMA: The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is keen to enhance the existing trade volume of $201million with France.
The BCCI delegation left for Paris led by Khaled Al Moayyed to participate in the Arab-French Economic Forum held in the headquarters of Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry – France.
The forum, titled “Strategic Partnership” aims to strengthen economic ties and enhance trade volume between friendly countries.
“The trade volume between Bahrain and France is about USD 201.2 million according to the most recent statistics of Bahrain CIO, yet we are aiming to boost this figure and reap fruits for both sides”. Upon the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding between Bahrain Chamber and Paris Chamber will be signed, and the delegation will participate in other business events and meetings with their French counterparts,” Al Moayyed said.
