MANAMA: Thousands of Bollywood fans gave a rousing welcome to actress, Raveena Tandon during the opening of 2nd Al Adil Supermarket in the heart of Manama on Friday.
“This is the 29th outlet in the GCC and there will two markets one in Oman and the in Saudi Arabia in few weeks taking the total number to 31 in the Gulf”, the Dr. Dhananjay Datar, Chairman Al Adil Trading, said.
Al Adil Trading Co LLC, U.A.E.’s leading name for Indian food stuff expanded their presence in Bahrain when they opened the second outlet of Al Adil Supermarket and 29th Supermarket in GCC. The outlet was inaugurated by Ms. Raveena Tandon, the beautiful Indian actress in the presence of Dr. Dhananjay Datar, Chairman Al Adil Trading and Noman Shaikh, Managing Director, Al Adil Supermarket. Announcing this in a press briefing Dr. Dhananjay (Jay) Datar, who is popularly known as Masala King, said that a record crowd of more than 50,000 people turned up for the inauguration of the new outlet of Al Adil Supermarket which is situated in the heart of Bahrain at Zubarah Avenue, Near Al Hamra Cinema, next to Pakistan Club, Manama.
The outlet will meet the growing needs of people for high quality Indian food stuff.
“Our first outlet in Bahrain is strategically located to cater to the wider section of the Indian population in Bahrain. Thanks to the support extended by Noman Shaikh and the wholesome patronage by the expat as well as local population motivated us to expand our presence in this part of the world. Our expansion plan is a growing a testimony to the faith that our customers have in our products. Today Al Adil has become synonymous with high quality Indian foodstuff and this is just a beginning of our expansion plans for the region. We are planning to open more supermarkets in Bahrain soon,” he added.
