Manama: Canon Middle East, a leader in imaging and business solutions announced the launch of it’s first-ever partner programme aimed at IT dealers based in Bahrain. The year-long campaign will recognise the channel community’s efforts to boost the sales of Canon printers and further consolidate its position in the country.
During the launch event, officials from Canon Middle East announced that top performing IT dealers of the country will be rewarded. The initiative saw over 35 IT dealers attend and register for the channel partner programme.
“Canon is a leader in the imaging and business solutions category in terms of technology, performance and range. This success has been built on many factors, including our product range, the service we offer, and most importantly, our ongoing programme for the development of channel partners and dealers in Bahrain,” said Hendrik Verbrugghe, Marketing Director Canon Middle East.
“The Canon channel partner programme is designed to support and grow business in the IT channel and also seeks to continuously recognise the contribution of key players and team members who in turn contribute to our success. The feedback from the channel community for the programme has been fantastic and we are receiving a substantial increase in applications each day. We look forward to sharing great results following the end of the campaign,” Verbrugghe, added.
The current channel programme focusses on sales targets set for main body printer business in Bahrain. The results with the details of the top performing dealers will be announced in 2016.
