MANAMA: Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Pakistan, General, Rashid Mahmood and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to Bahrain.
General Mahmood was briefed on BDF’s establishment stages, weapons, various military units and development during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief lauded the historic bilateral relations and steadily-growing joint cooperation, which consolidate joint ties in all fields, especially the military work. They discussed matters of mutual interests.
BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dhiab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Director of Military Security Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Inspector-General Major-General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics Rear Admiral Yusuf Ahmed Mal-Allah and Director of Military Cooperation Brigadier-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa were present.
