Shaikh Hamad Palace: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, highlighted the important role F1 plays in helping drive ambition and inspiration and the great ambassador the race represents in connecting Bahrain with the international community.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister was speaking as he hosted a gala dinner for guests from motorsport and beyond to mark the 2015 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Welcoming guests to the dinner at Shaikh Hamad Palace in Gudaibiya, His Royal Highness opened the dinner by thanking Bernie Ecclestone for his role in bringing the Grand Prix to Bahrain for the eleventh year.
His Royal Highness went on to extend thanks to the many guests who have travelled from around the globe to support this year’s race, as they have done so on many occasions in the past.
His Royal Highness concluded with special thanks to the staff of the Bahrain International Circuit and the people of Bahrain for making the weekend’s F1 such a success, building further upon the achievements of last year’s full night race in the region.
