This was announced by the Minister of Information Affairs Isa Abdulrahman who said that the Kingdom of Bahrain has taken the decision in response to Iran’s continuous interference in Bahrain and other countries internal affairs.
The Minister was speaking during the regular weekly post Cabinet meeting media briefing at Gudaibia Palace and said the Cabinet has referred the matter to the Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take necessary steps to implement the decision immediately.
The Minister said the details would emerge later as how the severing of ties would impact the trade, travel and religious tourism between the two countries.
