SANABIS: CEO of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Engr. Nabeel Al Mahmood called the business community to attend and participate in the 5th edition of the BCCI Business Roundup emphasizing the training sector and organized by the Enterprise Initiative Center in collaboration with the training, HR development and education committee of the Chamber.
The roundup event will take place in the Chamber’s headquarters (Bait Al Tijjar) and is scheduled Thursday 26th May 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The roundup will incorporate a networking session, which will constitute an open platform between the participants and a number of relevant bodies including Tamkeen, which will showcase its strategic plan with regard to the Vocational Training Councils (Levy); the Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs, which will deliver a brief about licensing and supporting training enterprises; and the National Authority for Qualifications & Quality Assurance for Training & Education (QQA), which will deliberate about the National Qualifications Project and its role in revamping vocational training institutions in Bahrain.
“The event will include a mini-exhibition, which will embrace both emerging and well-established enterprises, thus offering them the opportunity to promote themselves, liaison, and exchange experiences”. He added “Pioneering experiences and models will also be showcased during the event, including those of the E-Learning Center of the University of Bahrain, Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA), Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), and Bahrain Association of Quality,” Engr. Al Mahmood said.
