MANAMA: The Kingdom of Bahrain serves as a gateway to the trillion GCC market, thanks to the Kingdom’s geo-strategic position.
“Bahrain has maintained its position as a globally competitive base for business due its focus on sustainability, skills, and good governance,” Mr. Mohammad Sajid Izhar Ulhaq, the Chairman of the Bahrain Asian Traders Committee (BATC) and Deputy Treasurer at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), in a statement said.
“The Kingdom of Bahrain presents a huge potential for the investments in the all vital sectors of the economy. Bahrain is the Middle East’s freest market and offers the most liberal business environment and is the gateway to Middle East with the best market access to the growing Gulf economies,” he said.
Mr Sajid urged the businessmen, investors and entrepreneurs to attend the “RE- Invest in Bahrain forum” which opens on Monday 26th September at the BCCI premises.
Under the patronage of Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani, the Forum will be attended by the representatives from the Asian embassies in Bahrain, the Economic Development Board (EDB) and a number of Asian investors.
“The Forum is expected to encourage the flow of investments in new sectors in order to revive the Bahraini economy, and to create new job opportunities,” he said. He also highlighted the role of the Asian traders in enhancing the Bahraini local economy.
Mr. Sajid has invited all traders, Asian entrepreneurs and all the business community to attend the forum that will take place On Monday 26th September 2016 at 12:00 pm in Bait alTijjar building – Almamlaka Hall – ground floor.
