MANAMA: The inward flow of investments in various sectors is reflective of the confidence in the investment climate of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Addressing during the grand opening of Mukta A2 Cinema, a new six-screen luxury cinema in Juffair Mall, Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, President of HRH the Crown Prince’s Court, applauded the investment climate in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Shaikh Khalifa said this investment is an example of the confidence investors have in Bahrain. “I am impressed with the facilities here. This also shows the environment that has been created to attract the investors.”
“We will establish an office in India soon to market Bahrain as a tourist destination in India,” Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, the Chief Executive of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority, revealed during the event.
“This week, we are appointing an officer in India representing the tourism authority. With the establishment of this office, we are expecting to boost tourism from India to Bahrain,” he said. On the occasion, Shaikh Khalid highlighted the role of Indian community in the development of Bahrain. “We are blessed to have such an Indian community here. They have been our teachers, doctors, architects and friends as well. Such investments show the depth of our relationship,” he said.
Indian Ambassador Sinha expressed his delight at the growing India-Bahrain investment and trade relations. “There has been renewed interest in the recent past following the ‘Make in India’ initiative launched in September 2014. Today we are completing two years of Make in India initiative. I am happy to note that Mukta A2 cinemas has chosen Bahrain for their investment,” he said.
