MANAMA: From 25 January to 2 February the halls of the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre will be filled with enticing products from around the world as the Autumn Fair returns for its 28th year.
Held under the patronage of the Bahrain Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, this 9-day shoppers’ paradise features over 750 stalls from 19 countries and thousands of potential bargains.
A huge variety of goods will go on sale at this 15,400 square metre extravaganza, including specialty food, fashion, home furnishings, technology, toys, textiles and much more.
“The Autumn Fair is Bahrain’s biggest and most popular annual consumer products exhibition and has a truly unique atmosphere for visitors to enjoy. The exhibition centre becomes a colourful bazaar, transformed by traders who have travelled from far and wide to Bahrain bringing with them their country’s best exports. The largest international groups assemble to form national pavilions and include countries such as China, Egypt, India, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Turkey, Thailand, Syria, UAE and Yemen,” Yaqoob Ali, Project Manager Arabian Exhibition Management.
“Visitors can look forward to potential bargains and new-to-market products. There is also a strong business-to-business element at the show. The Autumn Fair acts as an important sourcing venue for local companies, and wholesale agreements and new partnerships will be established during the course of the exhibition. Numerous local businesses also regularly take part in the exhibition and many offer special deals to visitors,” he added.
