Bahrain: CFA Society Bahrain hosted an award ceremony for candidates of Mutamahin; the fresh graduate development programme in the Kingdom. The event took place for the third year in a row and was held at the Al Areen Palace and Spa in Manama.
This year the Mutamahin program received 300 applications from university graduates in the Kingdom, with 60 candidates graduating. 15 of the top performing graduates will be awarded internships with some of Bahrain’s most prominent financial institutions, including BBK, Mumtalakat, Kuwait Finance House, Ahli United Bank, National Bank of Bahrain, Zain, Bahrain Credit, Securities & Investments Company (SICO) and Bahrain National Holding.
“We would like to congratulate all the candidates of this year’s Mutamahin. As aspiring finance professionals, this program provides a fantastic platform for some of the country’s brightest graduates to learn from leading industry experts. All participants have been equipped with essential skills for the finance profession, which increases their professional aptitude when entering the job market,”. Mahmoud Nawar, CFA, President of CFA Society Bahrain, said.
The programme was initiated in 2014 to develop and nurture university graduates, with the long-term vision of contributing to a new generation of investment professionals in Bahrain.
